That's some printer's issue and solution.

（1）Related questions：
        Why there is a black spot on the print, and it still appears in the same position after changing paper?

     Solution:
The cause of the malfunction is the damage of the OPC drum.

（2）Related questions：
          Why there is a horizontal stripe on the print, and it appears in the same position after the changing paper?

     Solution:
It mean that you need to change the squeegee.

（3）Related questions：
Why does the print show a longitudinal stripe that appears on the same location after changing paper?

     Solution:
The magnetic roller on the powder storage box is damaged and needs to be replaced.

      If your Brother is finally starting to show its age. It's still on the original toner cartridge, with no sign of running out, but there's now a light coat of toner over the entire page -- as if every page had a light gray background.      You didn't  know you should replace the toner cartridge (relatively inexpensive),the drum (about $20 less than a new printer), or the entire printer?      I dunno about your model, but the MFC model I have came with toner cartridge yield about 3000 pages.
