      If your Brother is finally starting to show its age. It's still on the original toner cartridge, with no sign of running out, but there's now a light coat of toner over the entire page -- as if every page had a light gray background.      You didn't  know you should replace the toner cartridge (relatively inexpensive),the drum (about $20 less than a new printer), or the entire printer?      I dunno about your model, but the MFC model I have came with toner cartridge yield about 3000 pages.
